Jimbo, racial epithets were never uttered by any of the DiGuglielmos. That was was a falsehood perpetuated by the DA. The DA is the one who turned this into a race issue, but you would have known that had you actually sat through the trial.

A jury also acquitted OJ Simpson of murder--does that mean he was innocent?

A jury evaluated whether the defendant behaved lawfully. It concluded, as a matter of fact, that he did not. I'm sorry your friend or family member felt compelled to kill a man who was holding a bat in a ready position. I'm equally sorry your friend enjoyed beating that man moments earlier with his fists in a many-on-one fight that only a coward would love.
I'm even more sorry that you felt compelled to libel and defame that man, race-baiting the public and referring to the victim as coming from a petri dish, as if he were a virus and not a human.
I'm not sorry at all that this thug, this killer, is going back to jail.

Sara, then I guess you could also argue that Charles Campbell got what he deserved too, for savagely beating Richie's father with a baseball bat. Again, I ask, what would YOU do if someone was beating YOUR father with a baseball bat? Should Richie have sat idly by and watched his father get killed?

Richie is an arrogant asshole. He belongs in prison. He gets what he deserves. Since he spoke out against the DOC, I am pretty sure the welcome back party is going to be one that he will never forget.

Nunya, perhaps you have difficulty reading properly. No where has it been stated that DiGuglielmo was "wrongly accused"; he was wrongly CONVICTED. However, DiGuglielmo was wrongly accused of the charge, which was depraved-indifference murder. I'm pretty sure you have zero understanding of the law and how it is written, so I won't waste my time educating you.

If you did not sit through the original trial or read the trial transcripts in their entirety, then your opinion is pretty worthless. And as for your inference that Mr. DiGuglielmo Sr. shouldn't have been a "trouble maker puttin a sticker on his corvette", did that really warrant Mr. Campbell getting a baseball bat out of said corvette and beating Mr. DiGuglielmo with it repeatedly? WTF would YOU do if someone was beating YOUR father with a baseball bat?

what do you people mean he was wrongly accused? He still shot the man. He could have called the police. He took that mans life. Oh well. Let him rot in jail. you cant just go around killing people. And that old man shouldn't of been a trouble maker puttin a sticker on his corvette. So good now your son is rottin in jail where he belongs.

Susie: I don't think Obama had anything to do with this one, he's too busy skipping speeches and putting together committees to discuss maybe possibly doing something about an oil spill at some future date.

Hack and Lee: I'd be surprised if an application for leave to appeal isn't already in the works. However, I don't believe that bail or a stay pending appeal is an option in a class A felony like this.

Julie: Yup.

What's especially egregious is using the People v. Tankleff against DiGiglielmo since Marty Tankleff and Richie DiGiglielmo are friends and Marty fought on Richie's behalf to help earn him his freedom.
